The embodiment of a new dimension of performance, which not only makes it the most elite member of the model series, but also the star of the R-brand. From 0 to 100km/h in just 4.8 seconds at an optional top speed of 250km/h. The fourth stage in the evolution of the 2.0L TSI engine with an output of 235kW (320PS) and the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG) represent a very particular lifestyle: dynamic, progressive and inspiring.


The R-specific dynamic front bumpers are complemented by wide air vents – stretching from the distinctive side sills to the optional R-Performance Titanium Exhaust System with rear silencers in titanium. The R-logo on the boot lid and the high-gloss black diffuser also hint to the vehicle’s unique athleticism.


The blue brake calipers give the optional 19-inch alloy wheels a distinctive touch. The choices are many: 19-inch Adelaide alloy wheels, 18-inch Jerez alloy wheels, or 19-inch Estoril alloy wheels

Once you take a look inside the Golf, you’ll notice straight away that the digital future has arrived in the cockpit. These features are dominated by high-resolution displays, and the majority of functions, like the radio, air conditioning system and lighting, can be operated using touch-sensitive surfaces and sliders


The Golf R comes powered by a turbocharged inline-4 kicking out 315 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque to its all-wheel-drive system controlled by a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission

The 2023 Golf R is packed with 5 main drive modes: Comfort, Sport, Race and Custom.
